Playpoi + (optional) surf, Volunteer OR yoga retreat w/ nick woolsey
During April 15-28, 2018, Nick Woolsey of playpoi.com is offering 2 weeks of fire poi workshops with optional surf, yoga and wildlife volunteering included. Week 1 of each retreat will be dedicated to Mastering the Fundamentals and week 2 to Intermediate/Advanced poi. Feel free to sign up for either week or both.

This poi workshop will include room and board plus 2 hours of poi with Nick Woolsey every day, M-F. Also included is a waterfall hike and a night time fire show in the center of Montezuma to show off your new moves in front of a crowd (optional but awesome!). Our meal plan includes 3 delicious meals a day Sunday-Friday as well as breakfast on Saturday.
This retreat is unique in that you can also combine your poi classes with surfing, yoga or wildlife volunteering.
Surfing is for all levels. We will be taking the surf van to different locations every day. Those who wish not to surf can join us to check out new and amazing beaches every day. Beginners will have an instructor. More advanced surfers will have a choice of our 30 boards and a ride to some great local breaks on what we normally book as the "surf safari".
Yoga classes are integrated with the Wild Sun program. Classes are Anusara inspired Hatha Vinyasa. Read more about that on our yoga courses page.
Since the retreat takes place next to the Wild Sun Rescue Center, participants may also sign up to be volunteers. This may include taking care of animals and assisting in the rescue, rehabilitation and release of native wildlife.

Longer stays may also be accommodated for students who would like to take the workshop and continue with Wild Sun programs either before or after the workshop. Please contact us for further info regarding your personal situation.
