Custom Group Retreats
Join us at the Wild Sun Jungle Resort for your very own week-long retreat. Whether you focus on yoga, volunteering with wildlife, surfing, adventure, or a mixture of the above, WSJR is a spectacular setting to bring your group.
One of our representatives will be assigned to you to not only create the retreat you desire, but will be onsite to make it even better.
HOW IT WORKS
You, as host, bring a group of minimum 6 additional participants. In turn you will stay at our resort for free and earn a 15% commission on the base cost (found below) of each paying guest. You may share your room with 1 person, including family, instructors or co-hosts for only $130/wk additional fee to cover food costs (and cost of any excursions they may join) for that additional person. You may then charge however much you'd like above the base price to set your own compensation and to account for extra costs your guest instructors may incur. We can provide instructors for your group or you may teach the classes yourself (up to you). If you prefer, we can also provide a retreat host for you for $500/wk or even at no additional cost if you decline a free room for yourself (closed retreats only).
We have several standard retreats to choose from, or you may consult with us to create a unique retreat.
Open or Closed retreat
A closed retreat means you will block out a minimum of 4 deluxe rooms for your retreat. Any guests you bring will be yours alone. We may still reserve other rooms if you do not choose to book the whole resort, for guests to participate in our regular offerings. If you block out the whole resort, we will not book any other guests into the hotel at that time. To book a closed retreat, you must pay a 25% non-refundable deposit for the base price of the program you choose according to the amount of rooms x 2 participants per room. Any rooms that remain unbooked at the time of your retreat will forfeit their deposits while all attending guests will pay in full. In this scenario, you may handle all payments ahead of time yourself and send us the full amount owed at least 30 days before the retreat begins.
An open retreat means that you will arrange a retreat and bring guests but that we may book additional guests into that retreat as well. You will only earn a commission on the guests that you bring. In this scenario, you must pay a 25% deposit for your room and your guests will send us their 25% deposits directly as well. We will handle all payments and give your commission on the last day of the retreat. We will not hold any rooms for you without deposits and you will earn your own room for free when you reach 6 additional paying guests. This option may be appealing if you are not confident in bringing at least 6 additional participants so that you will not risk losing more than a 25% deposit for yourself. However, there is a risk that rooms will become full before you reach your goal.
